Brett E. Feldman handles matters in the areas of premises liability, retail and hospitality, transportation, and general liability. He serves as counsel to a diverse group of clients in the retail industry, advocating on their behalf in highly complex liability and damages cases, including infections and wound injuries, traumatic brain injuries, dram shop claims, faulty plumbing claims, and negligent security cases, including aggravated assaults. He has also handled hundreds of cases involving slip, trip and fall incidents, successfully obtaining favorable results for his clients.
As counsel handling transportation cases for trucking companies and insurance carriers, Brett handles complex and catastrophic claims while understanding the nuances necessary to properly manage such matters. Brett is an active member of USLAW Network, a network of law firms throughout the United States with relationships internationally. As a member, Brett attended the USLAW Trucking Boot Camp at Werner Enterprises in Omaha, Nebraska, where he was specially trained and obtained hands-on experience with tractor trailers, their operation and associated technology.
Brett is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, and Camden County Bar Association. He is the current President of South Jersey Claims Association, a forum where insurance claims professionals from the Tristate area have gathered for education, ethical claims practices, and fellowship. He is also a member of DRI, an international membership organization of attorneys defending the interests of business and individuals in civil litigation.
Outside of Sweeney & Sheehan, Brett enjoys playing squash, which he played at the D-1 collegiate level at George Washington University. He also enjoys skiing, traveling, going to the beach, sporting events, and spending time with his family.
