Biography

Marcus Jones is a member of the Pennsylvania bar. He concentrates his practice on matters in all phases of workers’ compensation, general liability, premises liability, retail and hospitality. He is a member of the Garden State Bar Association. Marcus’ goal for all his clients is to resolve all matters in a swift and efficient manner.

During law school Marcus served as a Judicial Extern to The Honorable André M. Espinosa in Newark N.J. Additionally, he held multiple internships in the practice areas of workers’ compensation where he summarized and provided values for new cases; employment where he conducted research and helped draft motions; landlord – tenant where he represented New Jersey tenants in disputes with their landlords and environmental law. Marcus held multiple leadership positions during his time at Rutgers Law – Camden including Vice President of the Sports & Entertainment Law Society and Social Media Chair of the Black Law Student’s Association. Immediately prior to law school, he received a Bachelor of Arts in political science from East Stroudsburg University.

Outside of Sweeney & Sheehan, Marcus enjoys weightlifting, spending time with family and friends, Atlanta Braves baseball and Rutgers football.
