Biography

Michael J. Reilly is a member of the New Jersey bar. His practice includes the areas of general liability, retail and hospitality, premises liability and employment defense. In addition, clients rely on him to solve various employment issues as they arise in the course of day-to-day business operations. He has defended and brought to close many premises claims with favorable outcomes for his clients.
Prior to joining Sweeney & Sheehan, Michael practiced at a large firm where he defended clients in various general liability and employment claims. In addition, his experience working for a plaintiff’s firm enables him to assess a case from all angles.
Michael has been recognized as a New Jersey Super Lawyer “Rising Star” ® from 2019 through 2023. He graduated from Gettysburg College and earned his Juris Doctorate from Rutgers School of Law – Camden. Currently, he resides in Haddon Heights, NJ, with his wife and two sons.
In his spare time, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife, coaching his sons’ various activities and pitching in an adult baseball league.
