Matthew R. Dellinger is a member of the New Jersey bar. He concentrates his practice on matters involving retail and hospitality, transportation, and general liability. Matt has successfully represented clients across various stages of litigation, achieving favorable outcomes through arbitration, dismissals, case withdrawals, and negotiated resolutions.  In addition to his practice, Matt has dedicated significant time to pro bono causes, providing legal assistance to those in need. 

Prior to joining Sweeney & Sheehan, Matt clerked for the Honorable Robert P. Becker Jr. (Ret.) in Gloucester County Superior Court’s Chancery Division, where he worked on matters of equity, shareholder disputes, commercial litigation, and foreclosures. Following his clerkship, he gained broad litigation experience at a transactional and litigation firm and the Superior Court of New Jersey Clerk’s Office.

In addition to being a member of the Camden County Young Lawyers committee, Matt is a member of the South Jersey Claims Association and has presented case law updates and analysis, and CE/CLE approved presentations.

Matt earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he concentrated on corporate, labor, and employment law.  His passion for advocacy was evident early on, as he was a member of the Trial Advocacy Team, earned the Best Attorney Award in the school’s internal trial advocacy competition, and competed nationally. 

Outside of Sweeney & Sheehan, Matt enjoys playing golf, watching Philly sports teams, and spending time with his friends and family.
