Michael Marchese is a member of the New Jersey and Pennsylvania bar. He handles matters in the areas of premises liability, retail & hospitality, transportation and general liability. Additionally, Michael has experience in various transactional matters, including employment agreements, asset purchase agreements, and real estate transactions.

Prior to entering private practice, Michael served as a law clerk for the Honorable Thomas J. Shusted, Jr., J.S.C. (Ret.) in the New Jersey Superior Court, Criminal Division, Camden County. This experience allowed him to refine his negotiation skills through mediation in small claims, special civil matters, and landlord-tenant disputes.

Michael graduated from Rutgers Law School, Camden, where he held the position of Executive Editor for the Rutgers Journal of Law and Public Policy and served as President of the Rutgers Italian American Law Society.

Before pursuing his legal career, Michael worked as a financial analyst within Walmart’s Accounting and Finance Development Program, gaining experience in international finance, operations finance, capital markets, and eCommerce.

As an undergraduate at the University of Notre Dame, he majored in Finance, minored in Italian, and captained the university’s Division I lacrosse team, which reached the NCAA national quarterfinals in three of his four years.

In his leisure time, Michael enjoys golfing, attending concerts, cooking, and exploring the top restaurants featured in Philadelphia Magazine.
