Zachary S. Edmonds focuses his practice in construction defect, representing general contractors, subcontractors, architects and engineers in complex construction defect claims throughout Pennsylvania. He also practices in the areas of professional liability, product liability and general liability. His experience includes arbitrations, bench and jury trials and arguing before the Superior Court of Pennsylvania.
An attorney and a civil engineer, Zach worked for several years as a structural engineer before practicing law. His industry background and prior career experience enable him to have a better understanding of the legal issues, finding resolution to a case in the most efficient and effective manner possible. Should a case not settle, Zach’s experience includes many trials to successful verdict.
Prior to joining Sweeney & Sheehan, Zach worked as an attorney at an insurance defense firm representing insurance carriers in first-party property litigation due to fire and weather-related claims.
Zach is a Philadelphia sports fan and lifelong chess aficionado. He has actively competed in chess tournaments since middle school and won first place in the Liberty Bell Open and Philadelphia Open.
